Find this Man a Good Doctor

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 29 — Shame on you, Michael Moore.
Where do you get the gonads to say the insulting things you say to America? What is it with your hate-filled obsession with George W. Bush?
Don’t you have anything better to do than spew venom? Have you worn out your welcome at all the all-you-can-eat dinner places in America?
Please, someone, get this whacked-out propagandist a doctor, and fast.
Moore has lost touch with reality in his latest diatribe regarding the struggles in Iraq.
Here is what he wrote on his Website: “Why should the other countries of the world, countries who tried to talk us out of this folly, now have to clean up our mess? I’m sorry, but the majority of Americans supported this war once it began, and sadly, that majority must now sacrifice their children until enough blood has been let that maybe — just maybe — God and the Iraqi people will forgive us in the end.”
I’m sorry, but this man is out of his mind.
The majority of Americans supported the removal of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, because he was a menace to his people and to the Middle East and because it does not take a rocket scientist to connect the dots of terrorists, weapons of mass destruction and a dictator.
In Moore’s world view, however, it sure would be nice if Saddam still were in power. Then he could be building more palaces for himself, siphoning away more billions of dollars in the oil-for-food scam with the United Nations, cutting more deals with the quick-surrendering French and, of course, killing as many countrymen as he wanted a day and burying them in mass graves.
Moore has not come out in support of Saddam, but if Bush’s America had not gone into Iraq in March, 2003, Saddam still would be playing his peanut-shell games with Hans Blix and the like, and we possibly would be playing the jihad game on the home front.
In two sentences, Moore insulted all kinds of people, starting with the parents of our brave soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is “sorry” about it, but more of those American soldiers need to die until we see the error of our ways.
I am sorry, but maybe Moore needs to suffer a heart attack after wolfing down a dozen eggs one morning to see the inherent wickedness of his words.
If Moore wants to take issue with the policies of the Bush administration, that is fine. It is his right as an American citizen. But try not to let personal hate get in the way of the facts. Try not to let partisanship turn into an evil caricature of debate.
The majority of Iraqis are elated to be out from under the iron rule of Saddam. That is a no-brainer. Doesn’t Moore ever pick up on those admittedly infrequent stories? Can’t he figure it out for himself?
No, he feels the fighting spirit of the nutcases in Fallujah. He is chanting words of encouragement in their behalf from behind the latest all-you-can-eat-salad-bar to be victimized by his presence.
Here is how he sees it: “The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not ‘insurgents’ or ‘terrorists’ or the ‘enemy.’ They are the revolution, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow — and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush.”
Clearly, this poor man has a number of mental health issues. Instead of fretting over the release of his fantasy, “Fahrenheit 911,” Moore should be inquiring about securing the services of a competent psychotherapist.
Something really bad happened to him a long time ago, and he needs to talk about it with a highly trained specialist.
Get yourself checked into a good hospital, Mr. Moore.
